Warranties
Last Updated: 26th July 2023
Under the Australian Consumer Law ("ACL"), products and services come with automatic guarantees that they will work and perform as described. If a product or service you purchased from us has a major failure, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund. If the failure is minor, we will repair the product within a reasonable time or give you a refund or replacement.
This Warranty Policy applies in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under the ACL.
a) Major Failures: A product or service has a major failure when:
- it has a problem that would have stopped you from buying it had you known about the issue,
- it is significantly different from the description, sample or demonstration model shown to you,
- it is substantially unfit for its normal purpose and can't be easily fixed within a reasonable time,
- it doesn't do what you asked for and can't be easily fixed within a reasonable time, or
- it is unsafe.
In the event of a major failure, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund.
b) Minor Failures: If the failure is minor, we will repair the product within a reasonable time or give you a refund or replacement.
To make a warranty claim, please contact us at concierge@perennis.com.au with details of the failure and proof of purchase. Please do not return the product to us without contacting us first. We may need to assess the product to determine whether or not you are entitled to a refund, replacement or repair.
This Warranty Policy does not cover failures or damages caused by misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, failure to follow instructions or the product has been altered or modified.
This Warranty Policy does not cover any additional obligations under any contrast between you and us, or us and a third party.
Please note that you may be required to pay the cost of returning the product to us.
Manufacturer's Warranty
In addition to the guarantees provided under the ACL, some products may come with a manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranty is provided by the manufacturer of the product and is typically included in the product packaging. It may offer additional protections beyond those provided under the ACL.
If a product comes with a manufacturer's warranty, we will provide information about the warranty in the product description on our website. The terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty will be determined by the manufacturer, and may vary from product to product. The manufacturer is responsible for fulfilling the terms of their warranty.
It is your responsibility to read and understand the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty, and to contact the manufacturer if you have any questions or need to make a warranty claim.
Please note that a manufacturer's warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under the ACL. If there is any inconsistency between the manufacturer's warranty and your rights under the ACL, your rights under the ACL will prevail.
